These laser welded diamond cores are designed for fast and easy drilling. The solid core sides are designed ideally for use with the new Makita dust extraction system. This connects a vacuum tube to the core drive which sucks air from the outside of the core cutter, down the inside of the cutter to collect the brick and cement dust into the waste container of the vacuum unit.
By removing the dust, not only is the job cleaner important if you are working in an occupied property but the drilling performance is dramatically enhanced if the dust is removed from the cutting tips. Cutting speed is twice as fast double and tool life is extended.
